Adding Memories in Family Tree (FamilySearch Website)
Hello All - you've been seeing and hearing lots in the last few months about adding memories to FamilySearch.org. Today someone asked how is this done? Where do I go to do this? The following instructions apply to your personal memories as well as your ancestors. 1. Go to FamilySearch.org and login - if you need to signup, do so. Once signed in you should see something like this: To add personal memories, click on the 'Family Tree' Menu then select Tree like this: Now your screen should look something like this: If I want to add memories for me, I would click on my name which will show this and then I would click on 'Memories': Now you will be at a screen like this: Now you can upload photos, Documents (pdf, doc, etc), Stories (these are written directly in FamilySearch), or even Audio files. This process is the same for your ancestors as well as for yourself. Super easy, super fun.
